Negligence/Premises Liability/Slip and Fall: The firm's client was entering a medical transport van for transportation to her regular dialysis treatment. She slipped on the step of the van, fell to the ground, and suffered a right foot fracture. Following an internal fixation procedure to repair the fracture, the client's surgical wound became infected. Eventually her right leg had to be amputated below the knee.
